Vineyard Dacapo - Agliano Terme

Vigna Dacapo, is a vineyard located in Agliano Terme (230 a.s.l.) right next to the winery. It is our Cru (officially recognized by local authority Regione Piemonte) as well as the vineyard from which our Nizza DOCG comes from. Dated almost half a century, exposed to the East, South-East, it gives a Barbera with an amazing complexity and longevity. (2,4Ha)

Also located in Agliano Terme (230 a.s.l.), locality Valle Rotonda, a younger vineyard (1Ha), next to Vigna Dacapo, gives the grapes for our Barbera d’Asti Sanbastiàn (produced in steel tank) and Barbera d’Asti Superiore Valrionda (aged in big barrels). It is exposed to South/South-East.

Vineyard Majoli - Castagnole Monferrato

From the vineyard Majoli, our Ruchè takes its name. It is located in Castagnole Monferrato (220 a.s.l.), in the heart of Ruchè production, and has a surface of 1.5Ha.

Ruchè grape gives rise to a unique aromatic wine. It is said that the name "Ruchè" derives from Piedmont dialect, meaning “steep fortifications of the vineyards that are well exposed to the sun”. More precisely, the vineyard is located on the Sant'Eufemia hill, recently awarded in Grinzane Cavour for the wine grower effort in landscape protection and preservation.

Vineyard I Girasoli

Also in Castagnole Monferrato we have vineyards of Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir (1Ha), from which we produce our Piemonte Pinot Nero DOC (Cantacucco) and our Monferrato Rosso DOC (Robur). The latter, starting from vintage 2019, will finally be officially recognized as Monferrato Nebbiolo DOC! The surrounding land is often sunflowers cultivated, hence the name of the vineyard.
